JACKMAN, Bernard Lawrence  - November 5, 1952 - December 16, 2020

On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, Bernard (Bernie) Jackman, passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre.

Predeceased by his father William (Bill) Jackman, mother Agnes (Babe) Jackman (nee Tully), and his sister Terri and her husband Leo D'Andrea.

He leaves behind his wife and soulmate Dawn, his children Jennifer, Meghan and Daniel, his stepson Christopher and his wife Judy, his stepson Kevin, his wife Melissa and their children Mackenzie and Abigail June, his sisters Maureen, Marji, Barb and brother Joe, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Born November 5, 1952, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Bernie lived most of his 68 years in the Toronto area.

Bernie's last days were spent in the care of his loving partner Dawn and the incredible team at St. Joseph's, who ensured his long battle with several chronic illnesses was bolstered until the quiet end. Farewell Bernie - husband, father, brother and mate to many - we love and will keep you close forever.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Joseph's (https://supportstjoes.ca/ways-to-give/), as their staff, in the midst of a pandemic, deserve our gratitude and support.

As a gathering in celebration of Bernie's life is not possible at this time, the family will reach out directly with future plans.
