SWINTON, James Alexander - September 7, 1926 - December 16, 2020
Born in Leith, Scotland.
At 15, during WWII, Jim signed up for the Merchant Navy where he travelled to most continents.
After the war, he immigrated to Toronto and the embrace of his dear Hamiltonian family.
Jim worked in the elevator industry for 30-plus years.
When he retired, he moved from Mississauga to his dream home in Duntroon.
Jim was loved and will be dearly missed by his wife of 58 years, Sheila, his children Lisa (Alex) and Jimmy (Tanya), his grandchildren, his great-grandgirls and extended family.
There will be no service at Jim's request and cremation has taken place.
Those who knew and loved him are asked to have a wee dram in his honour.
