PEROFF, Makedonka   -  Also Known as Donya (Doris) Peroff

October 12, 1932 - December 17, 2020

Donya passed away peacefully at her residence of the last 27 years.

Her death was preceded by her loving parents Grace and Stephen Peroff and her sister Pirinka "Pinky" Macleod.

She will be missed by her sister Nevenka "Neva" Pandos (Paul); her niece Vanessa Pandos; and her niece and nephews of the Macleod family - Neva, Dylan (Michele), and Jason.

Donya was born in Toronto, graduated from Jarvis Collegiate and studied piano at the Conservatory of Music.

Very intelligent, a voracious reader, she was very involved in the Toronto Literary Scene, assisting local authors in the publishing of their books.

She was an activist involved in many communities over the years, one of which was the launch of The Body Politics a newspaper and organization.

Our special thanks to Dawn Bib, Donya's best friend, who spent many good years with her and fondly cared for her over the last few years. Donya will be cremated.

There will no visitation but a Celebration of Life will take place once the Covid situation allows.
