Scott ElizabethSCOTT, Elizabeth Anne   -  Elizabeth passed away peacefully, at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare with her daughter and brother at her side, on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the age of 59.

Born March 1, 1961 in South Porcupine, Ontario.

Dearly loved mother of Jessica Young of Toronto, and sister to David Scott and his wife Maureen of Uxbridge.

Proud aunt of Meagan Dawson (nee Scott) and her husband Matt Dawson of Oshawa and their daughter Lyla.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her father Stanley Nelson Scott of Toronto in 2002, mother Anne Scott of Toronto in 2015, and nephew Michael Scott of Uxbridge also in 2015.

She was a driving force behind the creation of the Toronto Partnership for Autism Services (TPAS), and her leadership in this area helped make Surrey Place a leader in Canada in the field of autism services.

Elizabeth's dedication to Surrey Place and commitment to providing the highest quality service will not be forgotten. Her smile, laugh, and intellect will always be remembered.

Special thanks to the oncology team at Mount Sinai Hospital especially Dr Christine Elser and Dr Harleen Toor for their compassionate care over the last 6+ years.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Elizabeth's life will take place in 2021 when it is safe and healthy to do so.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Autism Ontario, in memory of Elizabeth, will be gratefully appreciated by her family.
