Quigley MargQUIGLEY, Margaret Diane - The family of Margaret Quigley is sad to announce her passing on December 22, 2020 at the age of 80, at home surrounded by family.

Marg was married to Jack for 57 years before his death in 2017. She was a much-loved mom to Gale (Paul) and Doug, “Granny” to Aimee and sister to Pat Drew.

Margaret grew up in Toronto and attended Riverdale Collegiate. She worked at Excelsior Life for a number of years before staying home to raise her children.  She was also a special foster mom to many others through the years.

Marg worked as Office Manager for Unionville Skating Club for over 40 years where she truly loved her skating family. She was known at the skating club for knitting beautiful sweaters and sewing costumes. Her other passions included cruising (she and dDad went on more than 20) and golfing.

Christmas was Marg’s favourite holiday and while we are so sad we won’t be spending Christmas with her this year, she was focussed on making sure everything would be ready for us even when she was very ill.

Due to Covid-19 we won’t be holding a memorial at this time, but plan to have a celebration when restrictions are lifted.

Should friends desire, donations in memory of Marg can be made to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre (can be made on-line through the Ogden funeral home website) or a charity of your choice.
