Tsiampas EleanorTSIAMPAS, Eleanor Louise (nee SAUNDERS)   - 1940 - 2020 It is with a profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Tsiampas in her 80th year on December 25, 2020.

Eleanor was a devoted mother to her darling daughter Angela Lynne, Angela's husband Thomas and grandson Peter.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Stavros Tsiampas and parents Maude and Percy Saunders.

Eleanor was sister-in-law to Dina and the late George Vasilopoulos, Polixeni and Tasso Kirkos and daughter-in-law to Angela and the late Athanasios.

She was the best friend to so many including Angela Doukas and Wilma Lennie.

She was like a sister to Paul Tsiampas.

A dear cousin to the Hurren, Swanton, Tsiampas and so many more families.

She was everyone's favourite "Thea Eleanor" who was always there to offer a helping hand, an ear to listen, unconditional love and support to her family and friends.

Eleanor will be so deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Friendships that spanned over 70 years in some cases.

Eleanor embodied such strength, courage and perseverance as she lived her life so joyously. May her memory be eternal. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's name to the Scarborough Hospital - Birchmount Campus or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Due to the pandemic and the current lockdown, both the funeral service and interment are restricted to invitation only.

A celebration of life will be held when it is safe.
