Macchione MarioMACCHIONE, Mario - Passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Mario was 56 years young.

He is survived by the love of his life Nancy, his proudest achievements; sons Francesco and wife Katerina, Stefano, and Luca; and his precious granddaughter Alessandra, who brought him nothing but joy until his last moments with us.

Mario will be sorrowfully missed by his siblings, Lina and Peter, along with their spouses Sebastian and Angela, his father, Francesco, his mother-in law, Carmela, brothers-in-law, John, Frank and Guglielmo along with their spouses Birdie, Terry and Felicia, and sister-in-law Felicia and her husband Giovanni.

He was very much loved and will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Anthony, Tania, Gina, Emilia, Umberto, Agostino, Carmela, David, Lisa, Daniela, Maria, Rosanna, Frankie, Laurie, Nadia, Nicole, Mathew, Agazio, Victoria, and his numerous cousins and friends.

He was our strength, our comic relief, our hero, our rebel, and our courage. We will all ensure that his legacy lives on within each onof us as we voyage through our own lives. He has gone but he will forever be with us through the memories we will share of him as we gather and continue to honour and celebrate his life. He will always hold that special corner in our hearts.

May you rest in internal peace. We will all be together again.

Donations can be made to Zane Cohen Centre.

The family will be having a private funeral service on Wednesday, January 13th due to COVID19 restrictions. Those who are unfortunately unable to attend, may watch the funeral service via livestream beginning at 12pm.
