BANKS, Peter John - It is with heavy hearts we announce Peter’s passing on February 10, 2021 at the age of 78.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Linda.
Beloved father to Peter and Brian.
Dear Papa to Maddison, Chloe, Maya and two Grandsons.
Predeceased by parents Andy and Dorothy.
Peter will be missed by many more family and friends, especially by Shannon and Erica.
Peter was a dedicated employee of Dofasco, retiring after 31 years of service. He was also dedicated to hockey, where he was a scout for 40 years and a coach at Eastwood Arena for 20 years. He was also a devout member of St. Stephen on the Mount Church.
A special thank you to the LHIN Bayshore for their exceptional care and compassion. As well to Rev. Robert Brownlie, Palliative Care Outreach Team, VON nurses and our neighbours, Michelle and Don Foster for all their help and care. God bless you all.
As per Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
