Kavanagh TomKAVANAGH, Thomas 'Tom' - (July 26, 1938 - February 8, 2021) - It is with sadness that we announce Tom’s passing.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Emma (nee Hepditch) and his parents, Thomas J. Kavanagh and Ann (nee Hammond) of Bell Island, NL.

Left to mourn and cherish fond memories of Tom is his sister, Joan Whittle (Harold, deceased), brother, Ray (Marilyn); the Kavanagh and Hepditch families, a long list of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; as well his CBC colleagues; and many friends.

Tom was born on Bell Island, NL, and later moved to Toronto to continue his rewarding career as a CBC producer.

He will be remembered for his quick wit, love, kindness, and genuine interest in his family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements with Ridley funeral home, Etobicoke.

Thank you to his Toronto friends for your kindness. A very special thank you to Jim and Susan Hepditch and their family for their kindness, support, and assistance at this time.
