WILCOXEN, June  - June joins her heavenly family.

She died peacefully, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

June lived to the age of 102 after living a good Christian life but she allowed the COVID-19 virus to take its course and died with minimal interventions.

Her daughter Marilyn was present as she passed away.

She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Donald S. Wilcoxen, her infant daughter Sandra, her beloved son Denis and her angel grandchildren, Stewart King and Christina Williams.

She was the longest living of the 8 children of Anna and Howard Tanksley of Heltonville, Indiana.

Over the course of her lifetime, she was a superb homemaker whose skills were challenged by the frequent moves with her husband Don while he was enlisted in the US Army and his promotional moves with his job at PPG.

She spent the last 6 years of her life living in Toronto but always felt her home was in Indiana.

A funeral will be held in Indianapolis.

She is survived by her daughters Marilyn Wilcoxen (Al Gladstone) of Toronto, Canada and Bette Williams (John Williams) of St. Cloud, Florida; four grandchildren: Robin Wilcoxen (Allan Stojanovic) of Toronto, Michael Klabacka-Williams (Rachel Klabacka-Williams) and Samuel Williams all of Madison Wisconsin, Joe Williams (Pamela Sidharta) of Los Angeles, California; and to carry on her life force, great-grandchildren Tibor Stewart Stojanovic and Adeline Klabacka-Williams.

Many thanks to her caregivers Pilar and Estella and her special friend Cynthia Webb.

The wonderful staff at Hazelton Place Retirement Home provided excellent care throughout her residency and adhered to her wishes for palliative care.
