GRECO, Franco - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Franco on Friday February 19, 2021 at the age of 64.
He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Waiting in heaven to greet him are his parents, Antonio and Elda Greco, his brother Luigi Greco, and his sister Maria Greco.
He was a dear brother to Joe, Rosa (Rocco Patafio) and Lucy.
Will be greatly missed by his nieces and nephews, Tony (Michelle), Anna, Giovanna (Serafino), Daniel (Monica), Stephen (Cristina) and Antonio and Adriana whom he cared for everyday.
Franco was born in Cosenza, Italy and came to Canada at the age of 3. He always had a passion for running and was a long time member of the Columbus Centre. His other great passions were Formula 1 especially team Ferrari, and playing and taking care of Antonio and Adriana. The three of them were constant companions especially when it came to playing XBox games.
They were unstoppable, always challenged each other and no one could ever come between them. Franco will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity. He loved his family and always was there when we needed him.
Due to the Pandemic and its restrictions, the family has decided to make the difficult decision to have a private viewing and service.
In Franco's memory a donation may be made to the Sick Kid's Foundation.
