GOBOLY, Sophie (nee MICHEFF) - Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, February 25, 2021.
Born in the Village of Oschima, Macedonia, immigrated to Canada in 1955.
Devoted wife to the late George Goboly.
Loving mother to Nicholas Goboly and daughter-in-law, Lynn Galloway.
Beloved sister to Nik Nikolaou (deceased), Fana Kovacs (nee Micheff) and Bill Mich (deceased). Treasured Teta to Louis, Emmanuel and James Nikolaou, Leslie, John and Julie Kovacs and Cathy and Dorothy Mich.
Sophie will be remembered fondly for her fierce dedication and care to her family and friends, her love of gardening at the cottage, legendary Sunday dinners and dancing with her husband, George.
She will also be remembered for her many years of volunteer work with Stroke Survivors in Toronto.
A private family service and graveside burial will take place. A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
