Husband, father, Nonno, brother, uncle and friend. Born January 19th, 1935 in Bari Italy to Francesco and Saba Salesio.
Brother to Michele, Angela, Ida, Rosa, Antonio, Giovanna, Margherita, Graziella, Pasquale and Salvatore.
Father to Saba (Sal), Marzia (Italo), and Nick Jr. (Rita).
Grandfather to Matthew, Skyler, Julian, Sabastian, Jordan and Mikayla.
Our father, embodied the true meaning of what it is to be a gentleman. He was a fighter to the end and now an angel to watch over the family he created. A loyal and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He served in the Italian navy, took up boxing, and was a Macgyver of all trades. He was a valued long time employee of Steelcase Canada, a storyteller extraordinaire, a worrywart, leaving notes behind to let us know when to change the furnace or to never let the gas tank drop below half.
You, were the ultimate. Rest in peace. Till we meet again. We love you papa.
