Marcantonio VincenzaMARCANTONIO Vincenza - It is with great sadness that the family of Vincenza Marcantonio announces her passing on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the age of 95.

Born in Montefalcione, Italy, Vincenza was predeceased by her husband Attilio and son Rene.

Vincenza will be lovingly remembered by her children, Antonio (Mirella), Claudia (Joseph), and Iside (Salvatore).

Vincenza will also be fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren, Audrey (Domenic), David, Karl (Carla), Rene, Cassandra (Kevin), and Mark.

Adored by her 6 great-grandchildren, Grace, Rene, Dante, Makayla, Masseo, and Lucio.

She will be sadly missed by extended family and friends.

Vincenza was a tough, strong and resilient woman who loved largely, gave wholeheartedly and protected her family fiercely. She was never afraid to speak her mind whether you liked it or not. The generosity of her soul extended beyond family, which made her special to all who were blessed to know her.

Music moved her, from singing in the town of Montefalcione to watching her favourite singers on t.v. Her dream was to dance with Andre Rieu. Vincenza was a first-class rebel, and no one ever wanted to cross her. The rhythm of her life was filled with crescendos and diminuendos that took her from Italy to Belgium and finally to Canada.

95 years were filled with fun, adventure, heartache, sorrow, and unconditional love.

Due to the current COVID-19 capacity restrictions in place in Toronto, our family has made the difficult decision to have a private visitation and service for our beloved Vincenza.

Those who so desire may make a donation in memory of Vincenza to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
