Joerges LindaJOERGES, Linda Joyce - (1946 - 2021) -It is with deepest sorrow the family of Linda Joerges sadly announces her peaceful passing at Mackenzie Health Centre on Friday, March 12, 2021 surrounded by her husband Dan, and sons Danny and Jason.

She is survived by Her husband Dan, sons Danny and Jason, Granchildren Jessica, Daniel, Natasha and Thomas, and her daughter in-law Michelle.

She is also survived by her adopted family: Sandra, Anne, Gary, Ethan, Tom, Larry, Joan, Debbie, Bernadette, Chad, Trevor, Jeffery, and others from Newfoundland.

A special thanks to Resie Brocken for being her best friend and confidante for over 40 years. Also, special thanks to all of her caregivers at Mackenzie Health.

Linda would always make sure anyone visiting her home was well fed and happy that they spent time with her. There aren't enough words to describe how she enriched the lives of those around her.

Her memory will live on in so many ways. Her love for her home and passion for gardening and flowers was evident in her front and back yards. She loved cooking for friends and family. Her interests of horses, drawing, music and going for drives were shared with family and friends alike. Her love of shopping will definitely live on with her granddaughters. We will be reminded of Linda in so many ways from this moment on.

Finally, Linda was the love of Dan's life, and Dan was hers. After 55 years of marriage, their love will forever remain eternal.

Arrangements entrusted with Thompson funeral home, Aurora.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linda's memory may be made to Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, crohnsandcolitis.ca; or MS Society, mssociety.ca
