McCUAIG, Elaine (nee GOURLAY) - June 24, 1920 – March 9, 2021
After a full life Elaine McCuaig (nee Gourlay) passed peacefully, now reunited with husband Eric predeceased 1959.
She devoted her life to raising their 3 sons and was an active member of Lansing United Church.
After retiring from Lawrence Park Collegiate she volunteered at North York General Hospital, Gibson House Museum and travelled extensively.
A remarkable woman, she maintained friendships that lasted a lifetime and nurtured close family ties.
Cherished by her sons Rob (Marilyn), Gary (Heather), Jim (Shebat), beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, and fond aunt.
Family thanks the staff of Gibson Retirement Residence and Bethany Lodge LTC for their loving care of Elaine.
Donations in memory of Elaine McCuaig may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Lansing United Church, or charity of your choice.
Private interment has taken place.
