LOVETT, Ann Bingham - Peacefully at North York General Hospital in Toronto, on April 19, 2021 in her 71st year, after a brave fight with cancer.

Ann leaves behind her sisters, Cynthia (Lovett) Elson and Mary Lovett and their families.

For 44 years Ann worked as a teacher for children with hearing loss in York region.

Staff and students alike recall her wit and passion, as well as her enormous capacity to care not only for her students but also for their families.

A talented artist, Ann began drawing and painting at a young age producing many beautiful art works that are largely influenced from summers spent at the family cottage on Lake Cecebe.

She will be dearly missed by her family, many cousins, former students and friends.

The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the Bayview Glen Church and community for their support over the course of her cancer diagnosis.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Bayview Glen Church or the York Region District School Board where a trust in Ann’s name will provide continued support for children with hearing loss, would be greatly appreciated. Cheques must be payable to York Region District School Board – TRUST. Memo field: In Memory of Ann Lovett and mailed to Karen Nardini, York Region District School Board, 60 Wellington St. West, Aurora, Ontario L4G 3H2.

Ann will be laid to rest in Paris, Ontario joining her mother and father, Audrey Belle and Alpheus Bingham Lovett. Because of Covid -19 restrictions there will be no service for Ann. Instead arrangements will be made for a celebration of life in the next few months with her immediate family.
