Kinahan WayneKINAHAN, John “Wayne” - Of Toronto, Ontario passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital on May 2, 2021, with his loving wife Mary Louise, by his side.

He leaves behind his daughter, Christine Anne and her fiancé, Chris Jarvie, his sister, Patrice Jupp, and brother, Brian Kinahan (Susan Jackson).

As well, he leaves his stepdaughters, Claire Elyse and Melissa (Greg Morris).

Wayne will always be Papa to his beloved granddaughter, Teagan Morris.

Wayne will be missed by many cousins and other family members.

Wayne was an avid sports fan; cheering on his Toronto teams - the Blue Jays, Maple Leafs and Raptors. As a teenager, Wayne played a lot of basketball and was captain of the Catholic Central team in the ‘60s.

He put 100% of himself, and his generous heart into everything he did. He had an abundance of love for his family. J.Wayne Kinahan was one of a kind, he was thoughtful, and open, and we’re so lucky to have had him in our lives. The world was a better place with him in it.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service has been held.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Palliative Pacer Fund at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
