ARCHAMBAULT, Elinor Joan (nee OBERG)   -  Born December 9, 1932 in Windsor, Ontario.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Elinor Archambault on March 27, 2021 in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Lovingly remembered by her partner of 36 years and 'love of her life' Doug Brown, son Robert Archambault and his wife Margaret and their son Amadeus, and stepchildren Keith Brown (predeceased) and Carol Brown.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Marie Oberg. Elinor lived a full, rich, and rewarding life and one she would say held few regrets.

She was a grade three teacher at Yorkwoods Public School where she genuinely cherished the time with her students, while making lasting friendships with many of her colleagues.

Her passions were painting, music, biking, playing games, and traveling throughout Canada and several unique destinations around the world. In her retirement years, and until very recently, gardening was the focus of much of her attention.

She loved her gardens as they were a great source of pride and joy.

With garden tools always within her easy reach, it was certainly going to be a bad day if you were a dandelion! Elinor's smile, laughter, and zest for life, will be missed.

She will be buried next to her mother Marie at the Glendale Cemetery in Etobicoke, Ontario.

Should you wish, a donation in Elinor's honour may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.

Many thanks those of you who have already donated.
