Moss RuthMOSS, Ruth Elizabeth Osborne - Passed away on May 12, 2021.

Lovingly remembered by daughters Caroline, Adrienne, Gabrielle, Danique, dear sister of Sophie Henley, grandchildren Sam and Isobel and great grandson Theo.

A fifth generation Torontonian, but a patrician and a McLaughlin County Tyrone girl at heart, Ruth was straightforward and an eternal optimist, an elegant, vivacious mother who loved to cook, swing on the dancefloor, kept an immaculate home and adored all things British.

She made friends everywhere she went, notably the Birthday Girls and Boy, Jacqueline McKenna and Shirley Kenyon.

Ruth’s ashes will be scattered with those of her children’s father, Arthur Robert Osborne and step-father Monty Moss at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Heartfelt thanks to David Dvorchik, Kensington Health Hospice and Morley Bedford Funeral Services.

From H.S. Holland, whom Ruth quoted at the end, Why should I be out of mind when I am out of sight? I am waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.”

Donations can be sent to Kensington Health Foundation in memory of Ruth..
