SEKHAR, John Murali - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John on June 17, 2021.
He departed peacefully with dignity and in the presence of his loving wife Nira, his son Joshua and his brother, Omprakash, by his bedside, at The Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga.
John is remembered by his friends and family as a gentle soul with a generous heart, kind personality and respectful demeanor.
An avid reader and lifelong learner, John would always be seen with a newspaper or report in his hand.
He was passionate about his strong-held belief that selfeducation, is a lifelong process that satisfies all purposes in life. He completed his MBA at IIM Ahmedabad, Master of Philosophy from University of Strathclyde and later obtained his CFP Designation.
John worked tirelessly as an Investment Advisor at BMO Nesbitt Burns, until his illness. He diligently served his clients with dutiful trust and long-lasting respect.
John made it his priority to focus on the well-being, success, and happiness of his family, spending countless hours mentoring his son and supporting his wife with love and unending dedication.
John is survived by his mother, Sarojini, his wife, Nira, his son, Joshua, his sister, Malathi and his brother, Omprakash.
Visitation will be at Chapel Ridge, Markham on Wednesday, May 23rd from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Funeral Prayer Service from
1:30-2:30, followed by cremation.
