Kreller StewartKRELLER, Stewart Reuben - (1940 - 2021) - Passed away peacefully at Southlake Hospital, with his family by his side on July 12th, 2021.

Beloved father of Carrie (Wayne Rath) and Stewart Kreller Jr. The best grandfather in the world to Sarah, Mitchell, Carson and Kelsey.

Survived by his brothers Paul Kreller (Sharon), Lyle Kreller and his sister Rosemary.

His fun-loving and mischievous spirit will be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The attention that dad received, at Southlake Hospital, was exceptional. From the patience and kindness of the 6th floor nurse who helped him get Wifi on his iPad, to the care and compassion that ICU nurses Gurgit, and Lesley, showed him in his final days. We would to like to thank them and honour dad’s memory by asking those wishing to make a donation to go online at give.southlake.ca

Dad was at his best spending time with his family, and friends. He loved to laugh, and to make others around him laugh. He was a kid at heart, always looking for some mischief. He loved playing cards, listening to old country music, taking trips down memory lane, bowling on the Wii, a turkey dinner, and an ice cold beer. Above all else, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will follow at a later date. The family wishes to thank Roadhouse and Rose, the nursing staff, Emergency and ICU doctors at Southlake, and the staff at The Elden of Bradford for their kindness and support.

He has followed his heart to be with his late wife, Margaretha.

“My heartaches and troubles are just up and gone
The moment you come in view
And with your hand in mind dear
I could dance on and on
And I could waltz across Texas with you”
