BERNHARDT, Theresa 'Resi' (nee Imhof) - Theresa (Resi) Bernhardt (nee Imhof) passed away peacefully on July 16, 2021 just 8 days shy of her 95th birthday after her battle with liver failure.
Theresa was born on July 24, 1926 in Stanischitsch in the Batscka region of Yugoslavia and immigrated to Canada in 1948 with her mother Maria and father Stefan.
Theresa married Franz Bernhardt in 1952. She was the beloved mother of Frank (Heidi). Loving grandmother of Michael (Michelle), Eric, and Jonathan. Proud grandmother of Claire, Derek, and Grant.
She will be fondly remembered by family, friends and all who knew her especially for her kindness and her baking.
The burial is at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery, 305 Erskine Ave, Toronto, ON, M4P 1Z7 on Wednesday, July 21st at 11:00. Due to COVID celebration of life will be held at future date.
