Bell RobertBELL, Robert  -  On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Robert (Bobby, Buck)

Bell left us peacefully in his bed at home. Born in Hamilton, ON, January 7, 1936. Beloved husband of 59 years to wife Sandi.

Proud father of Darren Kisac (Kerry), Garth (Amy) and Curtis (Amber).

Adored Papa of Hali, Cree, Darius, Curtis Jr., Borealis, Madisen, Sydney and Jessie (Lloyd).

Reuniting with his cousin-brother Keith Alexander and cousin-sister Gerri Bell and his parents Audrey and Ewan.

He was the nephew of the Honourable Lincoln Alexander and the Rev. John C. Holland.

Robert Bell was a proud yet humble Black Indigenous man who was a Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion.

He had 30 professional fights losing only once in a decision to George Chuvalo.

He retired from Stelco in 1988 after working as a welder for 34 years.

Bobby's passions were cooking, watching sports, particularly soccer, listening to blues and jazz and his love of his wife Sandi.

Many Black males remember Buck for the basketball gym he ran for many years out of his own pocket to keep Black youth off the streets.

No funeral but Celebration of Life in back garden in September.

Missing your presence; feeling your essence.
