AZZARELLO, Marie Louise - Congregation of Notre Dame May 9, 1934 July 29, 2021
Peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, Marie Azzarello, of the Congregation of Notre Dame, entered eternal life on Thursday, July 29, 2021, in her eighty-eighth year.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary Anne Arrigo and her siblings Josephine, Salvadore, Santo and nephew, Charles.
She will be missed by her much loved nieces and nephews, Frank, Mary Rose, Lucille, John, Paul, Mary Anne, Michael and families.
Marie will be fondly remembered by her religious community, students and collaborators in ministry.
Born in Toronto, she entered the Congregation of Notre Dame in 1955 where she dedicated her life in diverse ministries in education.
Her interest in Mary and St. Marguerite Bourgeoys, foundress of the Congregation of Notre Dame, led her to author several publications, retreats and presentations.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 11th, limited to family. Interment will follow.
