Romanov MoyaROMANOV, Moya   -  Moya died peacefully at home, on August 9, 2021, with Bryan at her side.

Moya was predeceased by her parents John and Catherine Fitzgerald and her brothers, George (Jean), Bud and Patrick.

Moya is survived by her sister-in-law, Babs Fitzgerald along with nephews and nieces John (Elizabeth), Bob, Jan, Howard, David and her life partner of 44 years, Bryan Hill.

Moya was born in Toronto and attended Loretta Abbey Catholic Secondary School.

After graduation, the family moved to San Diego and lived in La Jolla, California for several years and then made their way up to Vancouver for several more.

While in Vancouver Moya went to secretarial school and modelled. After the death of her father Moya and her mother returned home to Toronto.

For a period of time Moya worked for an advertising agency and that eventually led her to one of several jobs at CBC Toronto.

She started with TV Sales and then moved on to Radio Technical Scheduling where she worked from 1975 until 1988.

After CBC, she spent two years with a private firm specializing in international trade shows and then got her real estate licence where she spent 10 years with Coldwell Banker Case.

Cremation has taken place. In respect of Moya's wishes, there will be no service.

In her memory, if you wish, a donation to the Humane Society would be most appreciated.
