Knight DavidKNIGHT, David A. - Beloved partner to Teri Fuzessi, son, brother, uncle, great uncle, friend and dog guardian passed away Friday September 17, 2021 surrounded by love after a rapid journey through cancer.

Eldest of a rambunctious gang of six siblings David led the way through misadventures in local woods, on annual camping trips, and everyday undertakings.

Studies in computing lead to a career as a freelance Systems Analyst and later as a Senior Analyst at Rogers for 17 years.

Walking his beloved dog Tina led to meeting Teri, and a love that blossomed into three of his happiest years alive before an unexpected cancer diagnosis. Together they faced that challenge to the last moment united in love.

Aided by boundless energy and a DIY spirit David found joy in tinkering, problem-solving, carving, gardening, and devoting time to his cottage at Scattergood in Val-des-Monts, Quebec. There he served as president of the cottage association, working to protect its unique character, and spending time with Teri.

David was predeceased by brother Andrew Dennis, father Derek William, mother Joan Audrey, grandfather Will and grandmother Jenny, and memorable uncles, aunts, Ruth W, Margaret, Alan & Valerie, Peter & Doreen, Mavis, Dorothy & Denis, Mary, and cousins Shirley, Norma, and Robin. He leaves Teri, Katherine (David C), Susan, Ruth (Tom), and Will (Beth) and their families of loving children, notably Cassiandra who he guided and protected with deep love and respect.

Memorial visitation for David will take place at Brampton Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 3 - 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation or the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
