LEGGET, Carole Ann (nee BAKER) - December 22, 1935 – September 14, 2021
It is with sadness, that we announce the death of Carole Ann Legget on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit, with family by her side.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, David M. Legget, her daughter Elizabeth Manore (Mark), grandchildren Andrew and Cameron, daughter-in-law Mary Ann Gauthier, her brother Keith Baker (children Daniel, Michael and Randall).
She also leaves behind many dear friends.
Carole was predeceased by her beloved son, Duncan James Robert Legget, parents Arthur and Emily Baker, and her in-laws, Robert and Mary Legget.
Carole was a beloved and talented primary school teacher (Toronto - Parkdale Public School) for 29 years.
During her retirement, she volunteered at Moorelands Kids for 15 years.
Her whole life can be summed up with one word – Love.
Everything she did was loved-filled, gracious, generous and thoughtful.
We thank Dr. Ciara Whelan, nurse Tatiana, and the PSWs for their love and support.
A private funeral is being held October 23, 2021.
