CAVENDER, Donald - Donald Frank Cavender is now in spirit after passing away on Wednesday, October 22, 2021 at Etobicoke General Hospital after an unexpected and hard-fought battle with a kidney stone and related sepsis infection.
Beloved husband to the late Gloria Marie Cavender (nee Smith) his wife of 59 years, Don was also a proud father to Lisa Cavender and Karen Noonan.
Don cherished his 3 wonderful granddaughters, Megan, Paige and Rebecca.
Twin brother to the Late Doreen Nesbitt (nee Cavender), Don was a proud uncle to Michael, Kim, Kerry and Kelly. Don is also lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Loretta Smith, and nephews Stephen, Michael and David.
Don leaves behind many supportive and wonderful friends, former colleagues, Masonic Lodge members and other adored family.
A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2021. Arrangements with Glendale Funeral Home and Cemetery's website.
