HOGAN, Theresa (nee CAMPBELL)   - It is with sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Hogan (Campbell), at the Trillium Hospital, Mississauga, on Saturday, November 20, 2021.

Born in Rocky Ridge (near Port Hood), Nova Scotia, Theresa was in her 88th year.

She is survived by her son Michael (Toronto), her sisters Josephine (Ronnie), Tena (Pat), Betty, and her brother Anthony (Flo), as well as her sisters-in-law Mary and Helen Campbell.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Theresa was predeceased by her husband John of 54 years, also her parents John Martin and Mary Campbell, her siblings Florence, Marie, Stephen, Duncan, John Alex, Donald, John and Sarah in infancy, as well as her sisters-in-law Ronalda and Josephine Campbell, and her brothers-in-law Fred MacLellan and Ray Fecteau.

After moving from Cape Breton to Toronto, Theresa worked for Kimberley-Clark Paper until the birth of her son Michael.

Theresa with her husband John, worked tirelessly as advocates for the mentally handicapped on behalf of their son Michael. Theresa loved reading, book clubs, music, and her vacations in Cape Breton.

She had a great appreciation of family and dedication to the wellbeing of her son.

On her husband's retirement, she moved from Scarborough to Amica in Mississauga.

On behalf of Theresa, her family would like to thank Amica for the happy years she and John spent there, as well as the caregivers for their love and kindness to Theresa as her health deteriorated.

We also want to thank Trillium Hospital for the wonderful care in these difficult COVID times.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Patrick's Church at 921 Flagship Dr., Mississauga, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021.

For those who wish, donations may be made to Community Living Toronto.
