JENKINSON, Vivian Mary Jenkinson   -  Aged 101, passed away peacefully at her home in Toronto, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

Vivien had a passion for her four decades-long career as a Nurse which began as she matriculated from University of London in 1936.

Serving as a Ward Sister at St. George's Hospital during the Blitz, she remained there for the next 25 years.

Vivien's career led her to Liverpool, New Brunswick, and then Toronto.

In her retirement, Vivien became a master gardener, watercolor painter of botanicals; she enjoyed traveling, birdwatching, quilting and knitting for the beloved children in her life.

Vivien is survived by her godson Peter (Diana) Blair-Fish; friends Mary (Andy) Lothian; Liz (Declan) Waters; Rosalie (Andre) Thomas; honorary granddaughter Heather (Nick) Kessler; and honorary great-grandchildren Robyn and Evan.

The funeral will be held Monday, January 31st at 11 a.m. at Christ Church Deer Park, 1570 Yonge St., Toronto, ON M4T 1Z8, and livestream via Zoom. For the link, please contact: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
