COTTERILL, Ross (Alfred F. Ross) - 1940 - 2022 (Age 81)
We are deeply saddened to announce that Ross Cotterill passed away at his Toronto home on February 20th, after a long struggle with kidney disease.
In the early part of his working life, Ross was involved in the entertainment industry as a performer and a producer.
A second career in the merchant marine saw Ross captaining cruise ships including a Windjammer in the Caribbean, the Segwun in Muskoka and finally the Empress of Canada in Toronto harbour, before retiring years ago.
Ross's ashes will be scattered in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. Ross was much loved and will be missed by his family and friends.
