GILLAN, Thomas Vincent   -  January 22, 1951 - January 17, 2022

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of our brother Thomas (Tom) Vincent Gillan, while on vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico.

Tom was the first of seven children born to the late Seamus and Brigid Gillan, in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland.

He is survived by his sisters Mary, Dympna and Brigid; brothers John, Jim (Seamus) and Gerry (Gerard); his daughters Ashley and Jamie; grandchildren Bailey and Barrett; devoted wife Gail; and all family present and past.

Tom enjoyed a long, successful career with Molson's Canada, retiring in 2010.

Throughout life, he loved and excelled at sports. He skied with abandon, swam with sharks in South Pacific waters and played golf daily in season.

He and Gail travelled frequently and loved spending time with family and friends. We are now at peace with Tom's passing and take comfort in knowing he lived his life to the fullest.

"It broke our hearts to lose you, but you do not go alone.

For parts of us went along with you that day that God took you home".
