Jarema DanielaJAREMA, Daniela (nee WALACHNIEWICZ)   - Born January 3, 1928 in Lodz, Poland.

Passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Copernicus Lodge at the age of 94 years.

Daniela will be lovingly remembered by all those whose lives she touched. Beloved wife of the late Tadeusz.

Loving mother of Fryderyk (Jan) and John (Jane) Jarema.

Proud grandmother of Jamie, Michael (Tamara), Lesley (Kyle), Stephanie (Noah), Andrea (Mark), Annamarie and Aleksandra.

Great-grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Margaux, Devon, Liam, Chase, Jaheim, Teressa, Cyrus, Lily, and Ella. Survived by her sister, Maryla (of Poland).

Daniela was a kind and gentle woman, always smiling and making everyone feel at home and at ease whenever they were with her. Known as "Babcia" to family and friends, she lived for her children and grandchildren and later for her great-grandkids.

They were always her pride and joy. She loved knitting and all the family were never in need of slippers and berets, as she was constantly making these items and more.

She lived a life of gratitude for family and friends. She will certainly be missed by everyone, but her memory will always live on.

The family would like to thank the staff at Copernicus Lodge (Floor #1 South) for their loving and gentle care over the last few years.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Casmir's Catholic Church, 156 Roncesvalles Ave., Toronto, ON.

For anyone wishing to express sympathy, the family asks that you consider making a donation to the Copernicus Lodge Foundation.
