Di Donato DoraDI DONATO, Dora   -   March 7, 1933 – January 25, 2023

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dora on January 25, 2023, at the age of 89.

Beloved wife to Michele; and cherished mother to Pat (Franca), Rocco (Jackie), Joe (Nina), and Lorenzo (Deanne). Proud nonna of Michael (Amanda), Jessica, Bianca, Giacomo, Joseph, Lexi, Nicole, and Joshua.

Predeceased by her siblings, Pasquale, Giuseppina and Raffaele, she is survived by her sister, Olga. Dora will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families.

Dora always treated everyone she met like family. She cared deeply for her four boys, and all of her extended family - especially always ensuring that her grandchildren had a serving of her fresh pasta, made extra-special with her own homemade tomato sauce, available to take home if needed.

She showed her love of her family through her food, and everyone will remember the care she took, not only at every holiday celebration, but every single day.

She will be in our hearts forever. Relatives and friends are welcomed to Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin St.), on Saturday, January 28, 2023, from 5-8 p.m., and on Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church (811 Lawrence Ave. W., at Dufferin St.), on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10 a.m.

In memory of Dora, donations may be made to the Toronto Western Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
