April 20, 1930 - February 26, 2023
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of William George Robb announce he passed away peacefully, on February 26, 2023, at Shepherd Lodge nursing home in Toronto, Canada.
Bill was born in London, England, just before WWII and was sent to live with family in Scotland, where he attended school including St. Andrews in Aberdeen.
After moving to Canada in 1957, Bill got a job as a designer/draftsman for the Trans Canada pipeline Corporation.
Bill changed careers and became a drafting teacher in 1968 at Weston C.I. and taught for 27 years in the technical department where he became assistant department head before retiring in 1995. Bill and Jean enjoyed travelling with his family across North America and entertaining family and friends at home.
Bill was predeceased by his mother, Christian; father, James; brother, James; sister, Christian; and his beloved Uncle Willie, all in Scotland. Bill will be so terribly missed by his wife, Jean; children, Keith, Karen Vollum (nee Robb) and Neil; son-in-law, Patrick Vollum; and loving granddaughters, Cassandra and Nicole.
As per Bill's wishes, he will be cremated and a private celebration of life with his family will be held at a later date.
