ROSE, Pete - It is with overwhelming sadness, we announce the passing of Pete Rose.
Loving husband of Mary Rose. Amazing dad to Alison (Bob) and Donny (Susan).
Best Papa ever to Isobel, Robert, and Jonathan. Brother to Mike, Donna, and Jody.
Pete deeply loved his family. He truly enjoyed playing hockey, golfing, travelling and spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Pete was an employee of the Toronto Star production department for over 30 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Toronto Star - Fresh Air Fund, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
A Visitation for Pete will be held at the McDougall and Brown Funeral Home (2900 Kingston Road, Scarborough), on Friday, March 3, 2023, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. With a Funeral Mass to take place at St. John's Parish (794 Kingston Road, Toronto), on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 11 a.m.
