Bonhomme JosephBONHOMME, Joseph Gilles Henri Aimé   - "En paix au ciel"

May 13, 1941 - June 1, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, at the age of 82, peacefully and with family by his side, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.

Gilles will be lovingly remembered and missed by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn (Andrés), Lise (Adam), Stephanie and Catherine (Rob); Gracejean (previously married for 39 years); and his seven grandchildren whom he adored, Olivia (Sam), Ryan, Alex, Zara, Jack, Evan and Hailey.

Predeceased by his father, J.V. Bonhomme; his beloved mother, Simone Bonhomme (née LaRose); and baby brother, Ronald.

He will also be remembered and missed by his brothers and sisters, Emilie (late Larry), Suzanne, Denise (late Jimmy), Lionel (Janice), Paul (Diane) and Louise (Mike); and many nieces and nephews.

Gilles was born in Timmins, Ontario, and settled in Toronto, Ontario, where he worked as an Insurance Broker at Marsh Canada Ltd. for 34 years, working his way up to Senior Vice-President for Mining.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 16 Lockwood Rd., Toronto, ON M4L 3M8.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in Gilles' memory to Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (www.mssociety.ca) or to the Alzheimer Society Canada (www.alzheimer.ca).

Thank you to all the staff for providing compassionate care for our father at Bradford Valley Care Community.
