Delavigne RoyDELAVIGNE, Roy Herbert  -

 December 9, 1945 - December 6, 2023

 

Passed away, December 6th, at Michael Garron Hospital.

 

Predeceased by parents, Herbert and Eileen.

 

He will be rejoining his wife, Susan; and best friends, Gary and Gary. Beloved father to Aimée and Dory.

 

Brother to Joan Delavigne and Ruth Scullion.

 

Uncle to Kathleen Scullion, Gregory, Matthew and Heather Scott. Avid lover of trains. He enjoyed his work as an auditor for the CRA for 37 years. He enjoyed being Santa Claus in various malls across the GTA for at least 20 years.

 

East Toronto baseball coach for 10 years and leader of the 80th Cub Troop and 35/37th Scout Troop for at least 5 years.

 

A Visitation for Roy will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave., Toronto, ON M4C 1L3. A Funeral Service will occur Friday, December 15, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Toronto, ON M1M 1M5. 

 

Inlieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army and Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.
