Tausch JeremyTAUSCH, Jeremy Evan  -  Unexpectedly, on Monday, December 11, 2023, in Toronto at the age of 27.

Beloved son of Ingrid Carlson (Andre) and Harold Tausch.

Loving brother to Cameron Tausch. Loving grandson of Louise Carlson, the late Robert Carlson, the late Luise Tausch and the late Henry Tausch.

Jeremy will be fondly remembered by his uncles, aunts, cousins, and stepsister. Jeremy had a wonderful childhood.

He was born in Toronto and lived with his family in the vibrant Riverdale neighborhood for his first few years.

Jeremy was a regular at Withrow Park and the many libraries and drop-in play centres within walking distance.

In the year 2000, the family moved to Sault Ste. Marie, where Jeremy formed a close circle of friends, (Liam, David S.P., Ben, and David P.). Jeremy was a brilliant student, full of curiosity and wonder.

Towards the end of high school, Jeremy began to struggle with depression and was eventually diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Despite countless attempts, the medical system was not able to help him. In the last few weeks of his life, Jeremy realized that he needed help for his drug use.

He was open to attending a residential drug rehab program, but due to a tragic sequence of events, that did not happen.

The family wants to thank Jeremy's case manager, Sandi Danelon, for her caring and dedicated support in the last year of his life. Funeral arrangements with Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jeremy can be made to CMHA Toronto's Community Treatment Order (CTO) Program. To donate please visit cmhato.org.
