CASSELLIS, Margaret  - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Margaret Cassellis.

Born on July 5, 1937, in Scotland, and died peacefully, with family at her side, in Ayr, Scotland, on December 11, 2023.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Frank, of 63 years.

Dad's heartfelt loss is tangible, as they shared an unspeakable bond of love and support.

Mom was devoted to Liz Chow (Tim), Helen Lesniak (Joe), Frank (Juliana) and Mark (Shannon); and a proud Gran to Sarah, Michael, Claire (Aaron), Madelaine, Jillian, Logan, Isabel, Emma and Hannah.

Mom was an incredible teacher, a loyal friend, and was committed to her extended family. Mom taught at both Madonna Catholic Secondary School and Father John Redmond. Her many colleagues became her lifelong friends.

Everyone that knew mom cherished her kindness, wisdom and her encouraging nature.

Please join us in celebrating Mom on Friday, February 9, 2024, for the 9:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Reception to follow in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, all donations may be made to The Angel Foundation for Learning.
