Watson RobertWATSON, Robert ('Bob')   - John It is with love and affection that we honour the life of Robert ('Bob') Watson.

Bob, originally from Woodbridge, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2023, at the age of 91.

Bob was born on November 8, 1932 to John and Annie Watson. Bob graduated from the University of Toronto and obtained his law degree from Osgoode Hall. Growing up, Bob loved to play hockey and lacrosse.

Playing for the U of T lacrosse team, where he was affectionately known as 'Knobber', he set many scoring records.

Led by Bob, his lacrosse team won the Canadian National Championship.

After graduating Bob went on to become a successful lawyer and partner in a Mississauga law practice. In 1964 Bob married Amy Watson.

Bob and Amy had 3 children, Kevin, Robert and Michael. A strong business leader in his community, Bob became president of the Mississauga Board of Trade. He also co-founded Vaughan Valley Golf Course in Woodbridge. Heart broken by the loss of his son, Robert in 1990, Bob struggled to return to his law practice, and withdrew publicly.

Though never able to recover from this loss, he continued to be a loving and compassionate father who was loved. Bob was predeceased by his wife, Amy. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Kevin and Michael; daughter-in-law, Belinda and grandchildren, Sydney, Mackenzie, Millie and Rielly Watson.

As per his wish, there will be no funeral service.
