DAVIDSON, Anne Shirley - Passed away peacefully, on December 20, 2023 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII.
Shirley was the daughter of the late Bertram James Doyle and Margaret Ellen Doyle (Murphy). Shirley was a proud graduate of the Halifax Infirmary School of Nursing class of 1960. S
he worked as an RN in Ottawa, Edmonton, and for 28 years as the Operating Room Manager of the Northwestern General Hospital in Toronto.
She leaves behind her husband of almost 55 years, Peter; her brother, Bert and his wife, Helen; nephews, Paul and wife, Kelly, and Michael and wife, Catherine.
She has one great-niece, Kaya; and numerous Doyle and Murphy cousins with whom she remained in close contact.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life and interment will be held on Thursday, May 2nd, at 2 p.m. in D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home, 22558 Highway 7, Sheet Harbour, followed by interment in St. Peters' Church Cemetery in Sheet Harbour, NS.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in memory of Shirley to Sacred Heart School of Halifax and Feed Nova Scotia .
