A devoted wife to Barry, mother to Sam and Jonathan, and a loving nana to Justin, McKenzie, and Cody, she was cherished by all and will be deeply missed not only for her unwavering love, dedication, and support, but for her selflessness and sacrifice for her family.

Drinda leaves behind a legacy of philanthropy and community service that extends her devotion beyond her family and expands to numerous causes and challenges that she believed were important for the betterment of the community that she called home.

Drinda dedicated her time to numerous foundations and charities from a young age including Jobs Daughters, Daughters of the Nile, The Junior League and the Sovereign Order of St. John. She served on several boards such as UNICEF BC and Canada, the Vancouver Public Library, Science World, Arts Umbrella, BC Government House Foundation and the VGH and UBC Hospital Foundation.

Outside of her family and charitable endeavours, Drinda enjoyed a vibrant life filled with many hobbies such as golf, tennis, swimming, bridge, and book clubs. She shared 56 years of marriage with Barry Scott, celebrating their union on September 28, 1967, in Vancouver.
