MASNICK, Paul Andrew - Oldest living team member of the 1952-1953 Stanley Cup winning Montreal Canadiens, passed away on March 23, 2024, just shy of his 93rd birthday.
Paul, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, played hockey for the Regina Pats, and in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, and Chicago Blackhawks, spanning the years 1949-1963.
He lived an energetic and healthy life with his motto EDD - exercise, discipline and diet.
A fall just over two years ago resulted in a broken hip and subsequent decline in health.
Paul will be missed by his dearest friend of 40 years, Anita, as well as her family and friends.
A private celebration of Paul's life will be held at a later dat.
