 Alcamo JackALCAMO, Jack  - After a short illness, Jack, in his 96th year passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 28, 2018, surrounded by his wife of 69 years and his children.

He will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife, Clare (nee Catalano), his son Bill (Linda), his daughters Joanne (Bob) and Rose; grandchildren, Melissa (Gray), Jason, Jennifer, Rebecca (Alex), Tyler, Tim, Kaitlyn, Brendan, Connor (Breanna), Thomas and Ryan and great-grandchildren, Xander, Scarlett and Sofia.

Jack lived life passionately and on his terms.

A fashion designer by trade, he owned ladies clothing stores before reinventing himself in his 50s, graduating from culinary school and enjoying life as a chef until his retirement.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 4-8 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home, 211 Langstaff Rd. East. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 10:30 a.m. in the Chape.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
