GLANFIELD, Joyce (nee ORRELL) - 1927 - 2018 Quietly on April 18, 2018 the doors of heaven opened up to shine a guiding light for Joyce to be reunited with her husband Danny (1978) in heaven.
Leaving behind her only daughter Lavinia Patterson (Lary deceased), her grandchildren Shayne Patterson (Sarah) and Michelle Defreitas (Johnny) and her five great-grandchildren Vanessa, Brittany, John, Kaelyn and Rowan to grieve the loss of this beautiful lady who loved her gardens.
Joyce will also be reunited in heaven with her loving parents Thomas and Annie Orrell and siblings Dorothy (Bob) Dowling, Alice (Vince) Chadwick and Rev. J. Thomas Orrell.
Many nieces and nephews in England will also be left to grieve her loss. As a master gardener and member of the Richmond Hill Horticultural Society, Mom could always be found tending to her flower beds or getting ready for a flower show where she won many awards especially for her roses.
Our family wishes to thank those at Cedarvale Lodge Assisted Living staff for making those last 3 years happy ones and also to thank the nursing staff and doctors at Southlake Regional Health Centre for making her last days peaceful and comfortable.
As per Joyce's request there was a private family service held on Friday, April 20, 2018.
