FISHER, Helen Jean (nee ALKINS) - Passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018 at the Michael Garron Hospital. Helen, in her 94th year, wife of the late Gordon D. Fisher.
Beloved mother of Judith.
Loving grandmother to Megan (Steven) and David and great-grandmother of Alice and Claire. Dear sister of Marjorie (Ted) and aunt of Leslie (David). Fondly remembered by many friends and extended family.
Helen was a dedicated nursing teacher for many years at the Toronto East General School of Nursing and was instrumental in the transition to the Centennial College Nursing Program.
Funeral service will be held at the Church of St. Andrew, Scarborough, 2333 Victoria Park Ave., Toronto, ON, 416-447-1481 on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. In memory contributions to a charity of your choice.
