BURNSIDE, Karen Michelle - Karen battled her cancer for the last year with the same strong, independent spirit she lived her life.
She passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Bridgepoint Healthcare Centre surrounded by family and friends.
Karen is survived by brothers Sheldon (Cindy) and Kevin (Jane), nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She will be sadly missed by her close friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, on Thursday, May 17th from 1-2 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. A private cremation has taken place.
