McCLENAGHAN, Samuel Roberts - June 26, 1934 - May 28, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Samuel "Sam" R. McClenaghan, in his 84th year.
After a lengthy battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Sam passed surrounded by family.
Sam is survived by his cherished wife of 62 years Edith McClenaghan (Knox), sister Marilyn Johns, son Jim (Lori), daughter Carol Major (Pete), grandchildren Graham, Erin, Keaton and McKayla.
Sam will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Canada, Ireland and Australia. Special thanks to the nursing staff of the Oncology Clinic at Scarborough General Hospital and homecare Nurse Heather. Also greatly appreciated is the support we have received from our neighbours.
A celebration of life will be held June 9th from 11-1 p.m. at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aplastic Anemia & Myelodysplasia Association of Canada (AAMAC) or Saint Elizabeth: Home Health Care.
